2017 G30 BMW 5-Series` Configurator Goes Online

The German-based carmaker BMW released the all-new 2016 G30 BMW 5-Series a couple of months ago, the model receiving the best reviews worldwide, thanks to its evolutionary design, the latest technology inside and sheer performance under the hood.

Until the entire range reaches dealerships next year in February and March, respectively, potential buyers will have the chance to prospect the model by using the car`s configurator, which recently went online on the carmaker`s German website.

As we already know from recent reviews, drive tests, teasers, videos and recent reports from the 2016 Paris Motor Show, the 2016 G30 BMW 5-Series comes with a complete lineup of high-end models, including an M version and a potent plug-in hybrid, adding other interesting models.

This means that the online configurator gives you the opportunity to browse through the plethora of styling options, interior designs and high-quality materials and a wide range of engines.

For instance, you can adorn your dream 5-Series model with lots of exterior colours, including the Mediterranean Blue, adding a choice of 22 wheel options to best complement the exterior. Not to mention the interior offerings, with plenty of accents to chose from, starting with piano black and finishing with wood grain accents. The 360 degree view simulation lets you decide which one fits better your car`s interior.

As for the engines under the hood, the all-new 2016 G30 BMW 5-Series is offered with four turbos, like the 2.0-liter flat-four with 248 horsepower, 2.0-liter inline six-cylinder with 335 horsepower, as well as a 2.0- and a 3.0-liter diesel, respectively. In March, the carmaker will also add the 530e plug-in hybrid as well as the M550i xDrive, with a 4.4-liter V8 engine with 455 horsepower.
