BMW ePatrol Concept ready for the Los Angeles Design Challenge
BMW introduces today the new ePatrol Concept, a prototype which is designed to be a highway patrol vehicle suitable for year 2025. The BMW ePatrol features a modular structure and drone technology.
According to BMW, the futuristic model comes with a woven structure built using carbon fiber, polymer resin and aluminum wire.
The new model is scheduled to be presented at the upcoming Los Angeles Design Challenge. Besides its design, the ePatrol clearly features some impressive technology which could represent the actual solutions for this kind of vehicles in the future.
“We wanted to present a visionary impulse to the theme of highway patrol. Hence our contribution to the L.A. Design Challenge is a vision concept with no links to BMW´s future design strategy,” says the company.
For now, as you would expect, BMW presents only few renderings of the BMW ePatrol. However, there are some chances to see actual prototypes based on this concept in the coming years.
