
Here is the new BMW 1 Series M Coupe
The Germans from BMW decided to end the ruffle and to fully reveal the smallest, most affordable but also quite potent M ever created, the BMW 1 Series M Coupe. The first fact to confirm is that the new M model received the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine found on the Z4 sDrive 35is. The engine in question is able to develop 335 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, extra 50 Nm being available if the overboost function is turned on.

M sport wheels of 19-inch are available fitted with 245/35 front and 265/35 tires while the total mass is lower by 35 kilograms compared to the base model. The new 1 Series M Coupe comes with a lenght of 4380, a width of 1803 mm and a height of 1420 mm.


The performance figures were also released, the new 1 Series M Coupe is able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4,9 seconds while the top speed is limited at 250 km/h. The only transmission available is the six-speed manual one and the announced average fuel consumption is 9,6 liters/100 km. The model is set to be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show.
