2014 New York International Auto Show: 2015 BMW X3

The 2014 New York International Auto Show is also the host of the other brother that has just been launched, the X3 which now stands close enough to its sibling X4.

When talking about the 2015 BMW X3, we might referring to a comfortable and capable SUV, with some fresh tweaks to come.

For instance, the xDrvie28d model packs under the hood a 2.0-liter TwinPower turbocharged four-cylinder diesel unit, developing a great 180 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque.

The 2015 BMW X3 can hit the 0 to 100 km/h sprint under eight seconds, the unit being mated at a standard eight-speed transmission. More than that, the xDrive28d version sports the Selective Catalyst Reduction, which cleans the diesel`s exhaust.

As for the X3 sDrive28i, the version gets a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine, developing 240 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.

BMW X3 sDrive28i version is said to hit the 0 to 100 km/h track in around 6.2 seconds.

The exterior of the 2015 X3 also received some updates, like a new retouched kidney grille, new twin-circle headlights, a tweaked front and rear bumpers, or side mirrors with some turn indicators.

As for the inside, the 2015 BMW X3 comes with change as well, as new chrome trim, high-gloss black center stack panel and much more.
