Cam-Shaft Power Upgrades BMW M4

Read Time:1 Minute, 40 Second

BMW M4 is popping-up in our news again, this time the hot and gorgeous coupe receiving a blasting power boost from German tuner Cam-Shaft. Prices concerning aftermarket parts for this package have been also revealed.

The BMW M4 is the perfect model to receive outstanding power kit and the technicians from Cam-Shaft are well-aware of the immense potential that its 3.0-liter inline-six engine has in that matter.

In the stock version, the BMW M4 comes with a 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo inline-six engine with 431 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, allowing an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, when hooked to a six-speed manual transmission. However, with the seven-speed DCT, the same straight line is done in 4.1 seconds.

With the new power kit introduced by Cam-Shaft, which is Level 1 by-the-way, the BMW M4 is now ready to churn out a pure 513 horsepower and impressive 720 Nm of torque. This automatically translates in less than 4.1 seconds, achieved with the DCT.

In case you we wondering how much you would have to pay for the Level 1, the tuner is asking just 2,199 euro, including the seven-speed DCT. If you also want to add the Akrapovic exhaust system for a much aggressive growl, then you will have to add another 2,900 euro.

There are also other mechanical tweaks and visual bits that can be added at extra costs. For 699 euro, you could get the new and high-performance KW coilover springs which adjust the car`s ride height from 5 to 30 mm. Visually, you can increase the car`s aggressive looks by installing the 21-inch BBS alloy wheels, with 245/30 and 295/25 tires, for another 2,000 euro.
