Read Time:1 Minute, 45 Second

From time to time, famous TopGear auto magazine is bewitching us with some cool drag races which automatically involves…you guessed it…a BMW, in this case a one-off M4 going against two other extraordinary sports cars like the Lexus RC-F and the outstanding Nissan GT-R.

We will not unveil the real winner, the video does that, but we should revise some of the characteristics that each one is coming with, in order to anticipate a potential winner.

We should also take into account the fact that each car comes with its own mechanical characteristics, traction and weight distribution.

We will start of course with our gorgeous F82 BMW M4. The German coupe fits a high-performance 3.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo inline straight-six cylinder engine, developing 425 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque.

The engine is mated to a standard six-speed manual transmission, which allows a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds. Impressing or not, the M4 can also be fitted with the optional M-DCT gearbox, the coupe running the same distance in just 4.1 seconds.

Second, the Lexus RC-F comes with a massive 5.0-liter natuarlly aspirated V8 unit, with more than 467 horsepower and around 389 lb-ft of torque, being sent to the rear wheels, via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is done in 4.5 seconds, at a topping of 270 km/h. The sports car weighs 1,765 kg, as opposed to BMW`s 1,572 kg.

Finally, the Nissan GT-R packs an upgraded 3.8-liter twin turbocharged straight-six V6 unit, hooked to a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. The engine churns out 545 horsepower and 463 lb-ft of torque, enough to allow a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in an astonishing 2.9 seconds.

Now that we have the specs for each hot ride, it is time you placed your bets on the best one! Don’t forget to share your opinions on the drag race!
