2017 BMW X3 Goes for New Tests on the Nurburgring

The all-new BMW X3 is popping-up in our news again in new tests, this time the model being driven on the famous Nurburgring race track.

According to some new reports, the new BMW X3 is nlikely to be unveiled at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, BMW focusing more on revealing the facelift 5-Series. This means that it would be launched next year as a 2017 YM.

As previously discussed, the 2017 BMW X3 is coming with an extremely evolutionary design, highlighted by the new front fascia with standout grille which is flanked by the slender headlights.

Other features refer to a panoramic glass sunroof, tailgate-mounted spoiler as well as a dual-exhaust system.
As most of the upcoming BMW models, the 2017 BMW X3 will also underpin the CLAR platform, meaning lightweight materials for improved driving dynamics and increased performance.

Speaking about performance, the all-new BMW X3 is reported to come with 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol mills and diesels, adding a 3.0-liter inline six. As expected, a plug-in hybrid will join the club, along with the high-end X3 M40i with a 3.0-liter flat-six turbocharged engine, developing 360 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque.
