Three-Row BMW X7 Pops-up in Semi-Transparent Cover, Confirmed by 2020

Following BMW`s confirmation of the future BMW i8 Roadster and a bunch of other plug-in hybrids within the groups, including a new MINI and some of its M models, the company has also announced the arrival of the all-new three-row SUV BMW X7, the model arriving on the market in late 2019.

The news was confirmed by Harald Kruger, the CEO of BMW Management, during the firm`s annual press conference: “We will be broadening our model range with the BMW X7. We are also taking an in-depth look at the additional potential of this highly attractive segment.”

We are not sure how the future BMW X7 will look like from a visual standpoint, but IAB has released a teaser image with the SUV, the model popping-up in a semi-transparent cover. Rumors also stated that the X7 would be larger than the X5 and would share the same rear-end platform with the all-new 7-Series.

The BMW X7 is said to be built at the carmaker`s main facility in Spartanburg, coming with a wide array of gasoline burners and diesels, all configured with V6s, V8, and a V12. As expected, the most luxurious model from the X lineup would also come with a plug-in hybrid configuration.
