2015 Frankfurt Motor Show: BMW M6 Competition Edition

After unveileing the racer version of the BMW M6, the BMW M6 GT3, the German based carmaker has also brought the BMW M6 Competition Edition for an official unveiling at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Competition Edition is available from 17,700 euros in Germany and is coming along with the Competition Package, which adds up another 9,500 euros.

The BMW M6 Competition Edition will come with a choice of two exterior paints, the gorgeous Alpine White with the decorative bodywork stripes, and the Austin Yellow paint. Both will get the matt-black 20-inch alloy wheels in double-spoke 343 M with mixed rubbers, available at 400 euros.

Apart the two body colors, the BMW M6 Competition Edition will also feature racing body styling, like the BMW kidney grille, the mirror caps from carbon fiber, door handles and the side gills all finished in black chrome.

Inside, the M6 Competition Edition is coming with a plethora of features, some of them costing more over the initial price. We are dealing here with the multifunction seats for the front passenger, available at 1,950 euros, the smoker`s package at 50 euros, the Harman Kardon Surround Sound System, which costs 1,290 euros, as well as the High-End Surround Sound System from Bang & Olufsen, thst sets you back at 4,950 euros.

Other features include the Merino full leather with contrast stitching and black color on the seats, the M6 Competition badge on the door sills, gear selector from carbon fiber, the M sports steering wheel as well as the BMW head-up display.

Moving under the hood, the BMW M6 Competition Edition is packing a higher power than the stock version, thanks to the upgraded 4.4-liter V8 petrol burner, with 600 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, and a topping of 305 km/h.
