
2015 Frankfurt Motor Show: 2016 BMW 3-Series Breaks Cover
BMW has brought an entire fleet to be unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, and the 2016 3-Series is one of the stars to face a public debut. We are talking here about an updated version of the current 3-Series model, coming with some slight body makeovers as well as improved features and technology inside. The engine lineup is also refreshed.
The 2016 BMW 3-Series facelift is packing some revised body elements, like the new front aprons with the air intakes, revised headlights, full-LED taillights and modded apron, along with the new color palette and fresh wheels.
Moving inside, the 2016 BMW 3-Series has also suffered some light changes, like the full color head-up display, updated materials and the new Navigation Professional system with 3D graphics, or the BMW`s latest 4G LTE Internet connectivity.
In the engine department, the 2016 BMW 3-Series brings four petrol burners and seven diesels. The petrol`s power range between 136 horsepower and 326 horsepower, while the diesels go from 116 horsepower to 313 horsepower.
However, the latest engines refer to the new 3.0-liter all-aluminum six-cylinder, with 326 horsepower in the 340i, while the 330e plug-in hybrid outputs a total of 252 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque, coming as well with a fuel consumption of just 2 L per every 100 km.
