2016 BMW i8 Ends Up in Wayne Rooney`s Garage

The famous English footballer has recently purchased the 2016 BMW i8, the carmaker`s first plug-in hybrid completing the car lineup from its garage.

The captain of Manchester United Wayne Rooney is well-known for its passion for exotic and exquisite models, spending his money on customized hot rides as well. But the 2016 BMW i8 edition will surely spoil its entire collection with its special aura and looks.

The 2016 BMW i8 model is coming with some important changes, meaning that the plug-in hybrid has now received the Carpo Carum Grey trim inside the cabin, along with the Carum Grey leather on the seats, contrast stitching Amido metallic trim, the BMW i Blue seatbelts, gloss brake calipers or the leather engine cover.

Other important features include the “Pure Impulse Experience Program,” which puts together the “exclusive lifestyle options in the areas of culture, design, travel and gastronomy in keeping with the progressive and sustainable “next premium” approach of the BMW i brand,” to quote some officials from BMW.

On the engine department, the BMW i8 coming with a hybrid synchronous motor under the hood, backed by an I3 1.5-liter turbo unit, outputting a total of 362 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque, meaning just 4.4 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h, at a topping of 250 km/h.
