2015 BMW 6-Series Heads to Australia, Prices Announced
BMW has just launched the 2015 BMW 6-Series in the United Kingdom and is now planning to send the model lineup in Australia, the pricing details also being announced. The entire lineup will receive the same engines and features.
First to make its way onto the hot continent would be the base entry-level 640i Coupe, priced at 177,900 AUD, while the 640i Convertible will cost 184,900 AUD. Both the coupe and the convertible will come with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit, developing 235 kW and 450 Nm of torque. The same turbo diesel will output 230 kW and 630 Nm of torque.
Next in kin, the 640i Gran Coupe can be yours at 184,900 AUD, being followed by the diesel 640d Gran Coupe, with the same 184,900 AUD. The 6-Series 650i Coupe can be had from a higher 231,900 AUD, the 650i Convertible from 247,900 and the 650i Gran Coupe, priced at 247,900 AUD. All three versions will be packed with the 4.4-liter V8 engine, developing 331 kW and 650 Nm of torque.
Other features that the 2015 BMW 6-Series will be coming to in Australia, include the Driving Assistant Plus with active cruise control, Park Assistant, Lane Change Warning, Adaptive LED headlights, or the surround view camera.
