BMW i8 Receives New Aggressive Body Kit from AC Schnitzer

AC Schnitzer aftermarket shop have upgraded a lot of BMW models, like the one-off M3 and M4 sports cars, but now the specialists have turned their heads towards the carmaker`s first plug-in hybrid i8. The BMW i8 has received a gorgeous tuning body kit, which makes it look really outstanding.

In a press release, representatives from AC Schnitzer have declared that the BMW i8 has revolutionized the entire BMW fleet and the hybrid segment as well, coming with impressive performance and great fuel consumption, which is quite unique for a plug-in hybrid model.

“Now thanks to AC Schnitzer, this revolution is being followed by another: the AC Schnitzer special equipment for the BMW i8 emphasizes even more clearly the sporting performance and innovative design of the powerful, environmentally-friendly coupe,” AC Schnitzer also concluded.

This means that this BMW i8 has received a more aggressive body kit, which consists of carbon fiber components, fitted on the new front splitter, rear wing side skirts and a few more. To help reduce the ride height by up to 25 mm and 22 front and rear, AC Schnitzer have also fitted the BMW i8 with lowering springs.

Add up the 21-inch special AC1 forged alloy wheels and you have a completely new and tuned-up BMW i8. Additionally, the interior has also received some new tweaks which complements the entire body, like velour floor mats or aluminum pedals. No upgrades have been carried out under the hood.
