2016 BMW M3 Receives Some Visual Makeovers, Teaser Video Released

BMW is currently bringing some updates to the entire 3-Series lineup, starting with the replacement of the 335i with the more powerful 340i and continuing with the 2016 M3 model, set to arrive on the market with a slight makeover at the body, a few tweaks inside and no upgrades under the hood. A teaser video has been also launched, which slightly talks about the upcoming M3 and previews the model in the new Mission Impossible film.

From a visual standpoint, the 2016 BMW M3 will suffer minor modifications at the body, the model now receiving updated lights at the front and rear end, LED headlights, new exterior colors and a few more. Inside, the new M3 will also receive some new tweaks, the cupholders now getting a new sliding cover, or the dashboard coming in new accents.

As aforementioned, the 2016 BMW M3 will not be upgraded under the hood, the model still keeping the 3.0-liter straight-six cylinder twin-turbocharged, which develops 425 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque.

As you probably know, the 3.0-liter is closely related to the N55 unit which was put off, due to the introduction of the B58 in the 3-Series fleet. For the moment, this is all we have got on the 2016 BMW M3, but more details will be revealed somewhere towards the end of the year. Meanwhile, enjoy the video teaser!
