Car Crash with BMW i8 on the Roads of Germany
The test driver of the first unveiled BMW i8 in Germany had a terrible car crash in Germany after losing control due to the high-speed and bad traffic conditions.
We are talking about a 30 year test driver, who was testing the BMW i8 on the A92 near Freising, in Germany. As the local Police Chief Commissioner states, the accident took place due to the high-speed of the car on a rainy day.

Since it was rainy and the road was slippery, the driver couldn’t manage to handle the BMW i8 anymore and ended-up with its fender being bended over the side of the road.

As you already know, the BMW i8 was first unveiled back in 2013, but this is the first model to be crashed on the roads in Germany.
As a reminder, the i8 is powered by a 1.5-liter three-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine, developing a 231 horsepower and 320 Nm. It is backed-up by an electric motor developing an extra 131 horsepower and 250 Nm, reaching a total of 362 horsepower and 570 Nm.

Guys, pay attention on the roads, the car might be too powerful for you to handle when driving on heavy rain.
