AC Schnitzer offers the BMW Z4 (E89) ACS 99d at Geneva
Yesterday we talked about a new creation of the German tuners at AC Schnitzer, called ACS5 Sport S, a model based on the current BMW 550i (F10) which follows to be revealed within Geneva Motor Show.
It seems that the modified 5 Series will not be alone and will accompany another package developed by AC Schnitzer specialists but this time for the current generation BMW Z4. First thing that distract us is the unique exterior of the German roadster which combines a white colour with several green and grey stripes.
Another important feature of the Z4 ACS 99d is the fuel consumption and emissions figures which make us think that the Germans misspelled when writing the specifications sheet. The average fuel consumption stops at 3,8 l/100 km while the CO2 emissions at 99 g/km.
Thus, very good figures when it comes to efficiency but also very good performance is available thanks to the 2.0-liter diesel developing 190 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque. The top speed of the new Z4 ACS 99d is 235 km/h while the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 6,9 seconds. AC Schnitzer announced a price of about $205,000 for the new ACS 99d.
