AC Schnitzer to present at Geneva BMW 5 Series (F10) ACS5 Sport S package
The Germans from AC Schnitzer are well-known for their dedication to models within BMW’s range, thus, they managed to create a tuning kit called ACS5 Sport S for the latest 5 Series generation, known as F10. The BMW 5 Series get a better appearance but also improved performance while the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions seem to remain at the same level.
For now the details are limited but the Geneva Motor Show it’s just around the corner, full details following to be revealed within the long-awaited European Auto Show.
AC Schnitzer opted to work on the 550i version, under the bonnet being available the 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 able to develop now 540hp and 750 Nm of torque, extra 133hp being squeezed by the German tuners comparing to the standard model developing 407hp.
The top speed of the new BMW 550i ACS5 Sport S model is 320 km/h while the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 4,5 seconds. These are the main technical improvements while at the exterior a new body paint is available together with other revised parts, as we can see in the official photos.
