Rumors on a possible GTS version of BMW 1 Series M Coupe

The official unveiling date of the smallest M ever created, the BMW 1 Series M Coupe, gets closer and closer. More exactly, on December 12th, the Germans from BMW will reveal the the M version of the 1 Series Coupe, with all the required specifications but also with official pictures as the Bavarians teased just few parts of the model or camouflaged prototypes.

Even the model was not revealed yet, there are some big rumors that BMW’s Motorsport divison is working on a GTS/CSL version of 1 Series M Coupe, a model which would compete starting 2012 in the related competitions.

For now, these are still rumors as the Germans from BMW did not confirmed these rumors yet. Even the German model was not revealed officially yet, we know that the 3.0-liter twin-turbo coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox and able to develop 340 horsepower will be the heart of the 1 Series M Coupe. About the GTS/CSL version of the model these are the only details available for now.
