A new competitive racing bike named 2009 BMW S1000RR has been officially launched.
The only sure details about this motorcycle is that it can develop 190 horse power and a 4 cylinder engine. The weight of the 2009 BMW S1000RR shouldn’t exceed 419 pounds and it is also equipped with traction control. There are many other new technological features which are hidden at the moment. This race bike will go into production in 2009 and BMW is hoping to race it the same year.
The number of BMW which are being sold is planned to double by 2012, reaching an all time high of 150,000 units. BMW is a very confident motorcycle producer and they plan on developing this area of their business.
