Read Time:2 Minute, 20 Second

We have been waiting for the arrival of the 2018 BMW X2 for a long time and now that the compact crossover has finally emerged, we get to admire it in a wonderful media gallery released below by the German carmaker.

As you probably know already, BMW couldn`t wait for the 2017 Paris Motor Show, which opens its gates on November 25th, and released the 2018 X2 earlier. It has made quite a buzz so far as it was declared one of the best models in its segment.

The 2018 BMW X2 is way too bigger than the previous variant, and can also be offered with the M Sport and the M Sport X packages. The latter one adds a more aggressive attitude thanks to the variety of M goodies.

As we can depict from the new media gallery below, the 2018 BMW X2`s design language is based on the X2 Concept, coming with a low-profile cabin glasshouse area, impressive new kidney grille at the front, fog lights on the side clusters, bolstered wheel arches, wide low overall silhouette and small rear windscreen. All these new lines enhance the car`s aesthetics and increase aerodynamics.

The 2018 BMW X2 crossover is also offered with a new colour pallete in and out – Misano Blue Metallic and Galvanic Gold Metallic at the exterior, and Dakota Leather in Magna Red and Micro Hexagon fabric, Anthracite/Alcantara in Black with M piping inside the cabin.

On the other hand, the M Sport package adds more features like 20-inch alloy wheels and new M goodies all around the body style. The M Sport X is even further enhanced with new body colours, M Sport Dynamic Damper Control and much more.

Besides the aforementioned Dakota Leather in Magna Red and Micro Hexagon fabric Anthracite/Alcantara combo in Black with M piping, the car`s cabin is fully tweaked with the latest technological gadgetries, also found on other new models. We should mention BMW ConnectedDrive Services, Head-Up Display, Apple CarPlay, wide touchscreen iDrive6 interface, Driving Assistance Plus with Parking Assistant and so on.

As for performance, the all-new 2018 X2 is equipped with three engines – the xDrive20i petrol (192 HP) with seven-speed Steptronic dual-clutch transmission, xDrive20diesel (190 HP), and the xDrive25d diesel (231 HP). The latter two come with an eight-speed Steptronic transmission.
