F10 BMW M5 Gets Bespoke Wheels and Power Upgrades, Installation by EAS
Even if it is a rare sight watching the California-based European Auto Source tuner adding a performance package to a BMW product, it is also a delight hearing out the engine growl of the finished product.
The technicians from EAS have recently transformed the below F10 BMW M5 into something really special, by adding a complete tuning program, which involves new wheels and exterior looks, as well as a power boost under the hood.
Starting with the exterior, the engineers have added some cool carbon fiber aero parts from 3D Design tuner, such as the new carbon fiber rear diffuser and trunk spoiler, and bespoke exhaust system which announces some serious modding under the hood.
The car`s Frozen Grey exterior wrap and the new carbon fiber aero parts are perfectly matching the car`s new set of wheels, which the tuner has commissioned from ADV Wheels tuner. The wheels come in the shape of ADV10R Directional Track Spec competition wheels, sized 21×9.5 and 21×11 front and rear, and finished in Gloss Red.
The new wheels also look amazingly aggressive with the custom KW Variant 3 Coilover system, adding increase stance and grip. Finally, the technicians have then moved underneath the car`s hood for some extra power work.
The car`s massive and high-performance 4.4-liter V8 turbo engine has now undergone serious modifications, all part from the tuner`s ESS Tuning S63 Stage 1 Performance ECU software. It includes new Evolution Eacewerks Competition Series three-inch catless downpipes as well as an ECU remapping. Unfortunately, the tuner hasn’t released the official performance numbers yet, but we do know that without the speed limiter, this hot-shot is now coming with a top speed of 300 km/h. This automatically means that it can sprint to 100 km/h in less than the stock 4.2 seconds, at a top speed of 250 km/h.
