BMW X2 Caught on Camouflage in Munich
BMW launched the BMW X2 Concept at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, which is said to spawn the future generation of the X2 SUV, recently spied on shots while undergoing tests outside Munich.
As we can depict from the spy photos, the test-mule is wearing less camouflage around the body which allows for a deeper-in analyses concerning the design it will come with.
As expected, it will wear the overall look of the X2 Concept, yet it will also come with its own looks that will bring it closer to the X1.
The prototype reveals the much wider body style with large kidney grille and air intakes, revised headlights, upper bumper-mounted fog lamps, new taillights, all of them increasing the SUV`s aggressive look.
Inside, the cabin will also borrow some design lines from the present X1 but will share however the technology envisioned in the Concept. Other element make reference to the 2-Series Active Tourer as well. Amongst the top features we should mention the BMW`s ConnectedDrive system, head-up display, plethora of gadgetry and applications, adding the finest materials all around the cabin and so forth.
In the engine department, the all-new BMW X2 SUV will come with a wide range of gasoline burners and diesels, with front- and all-wheel drive configuration. Once it will emerge on the market, the new SUV will take on the likes of the new Audi Q3, Range Rover Evoque or the Mercedes-Benz GLA.
