Lava Green BMW i8 Arrives in Abu Dhabi

We all know that BMW Abu Dhabi is the most exclusive dealership money can buy, with a lot of rare, expensive and custom-built models to receive their share of admiration. Not to mention that a lot have been built to satisfy a lot of rich Arabian customers.

Te latest one-off BMW to be displayed and get its share of exclusivity at BMW Abu Dhabi, is no other than the BMW i8 plug-in hybrid, the model standing out from the crowd with the rare Lava Green body color.

Besides the cool and exotic exterior, the plug-in hybrid can be also admired with the carbon aero kit provided by AC Schnitzer, the famous tuner that has customized a lot of BMW models and treated them with the respect they deserve.

The carbon aero kit comes with a lot of impressive body parts, the most impressive including the extended front spoiler, rear spoiler, side sills, all perfectly matching the Lava Green color and bespoke wheels, finished in Brushed Metal, increasing thus its personality.

In the engine department, the BMW i8 still packs the synchronous 1.5-liter engine paired to an electric motor and a 7.1 kWh lithium ion-battery. The overall power stands at an impressive 362 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. The model comes with an electric range of 30 km achieved at a top speed of 120 km/h, with a total range of 440 km.

The hybrid drivetrain allows a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, while the sprint from 80 to 120 km/h is done in 4.0 seconds. The topping stands at 250 km/h.
