One-off BMW M2 Delivers Whopping Power Courtesy to AC Schnitzer
In order to properly customize a BMW M2 Coupe and make it look extremely aggressive and powerful, you have to be a well-known tuner that knows how to handle this special ride.
But just like Vorsteiner, which I also prefer for BMW customizations, German tuner AC Schnitzer knows the M2 Coupe in-and-out and comes-up with the perfect solutions for the most appropriate full tuning kits.
And after recently increasing the performance of a MINI JCW, it was time to see this M2 Coupe live in action with some cool upgrade figures too. More than that, the release of this one-off M2 Coupe was the perfect occasion for the tuner to celebrate 30 years of hard work and exquisite projects on the market.
This lad here has received an impressive power boost, all squeezed-out from the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine, which is now capable to deliver a whopping 630 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. The impressive increase was achieved by adding new turbochargers and a bespoke intercooler.
Unfortunately, we don’t have the official performance figures, but this should be way more impressive than the stock M3 model, meaning 4.1 seconds when equipped with the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Moreover, I also predict less than 3.9 seconds, which is the time achieved by the tuner`s latest tuning program carried out on a BMW M3.
The AC Schnitzer program also includes some mechanical customizations, including a new KW coil-over suspension, carbon strut bar or the six-piston calipers with 380 mm discs at the front and four-piston calipers with 370 mm discs at the rear. The result is what you get to see in the media gallery below!
