BMW i8 Vorsteiner Carbon Kit Is a Real Ass-Kicker

Vorsteiner tuner is popping up in our news again, this time with a mind-blowing carbon aero kit carried out on the one-off BMW i8. Adding their custom and high-performance wheels, would make it a hotter and quite a head-turner model.

BMW launched the i8 in 2014, the model representing the carmaker`s cutting edge technology in terms of performance. It took its power from a hybrid synchronous motor 131 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque.The synchronous motor was back by an I3 1.5-liter turbo unit, with an additional 228 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque, outputting a total of 357 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque. And this lad here is still packing the same powertrain and performance.

However, things are looking different from a visual standpoint. The BMW i8 seen here is a real head-turner with the plethora of body styling parts, all from carbon fiber. The carbon fiber aero kit comes with custom front spoiler and aero rear diffuser.

They consist of Autoclaved Pre-Impregnated Carbon Fiber, which provide the model with strenght, durability and rigidity, way too advanced as opposed to the traditional carbon fiber components. On top of that, the technicians have also installed a new set of lightweight VFE-301 forged wheels, which gives it a real standout look. This might be seen as one of the most complete and outstanding tuning project that Vorsteneir have ever carried out on a BMW i8 plug-in hybrid.
