2016 BMW X1 Engine Lineup Gets Bigger
The gorgeous 2016 BMW X1 is here with some more engines to be offered to its customers. We are talking about the newly added versions which will complete its entire lineup, such as the entry-level sDrive16d, sDrive18i as well as the xDrive18d.
The base entry-level 2016 BMW X1 sDrive16d is powered by a 1.5-liter three-cylinder diesel burner, with 116 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque, managing a fuel efficiency of 3.9 L/100 km. It runs from 0 to 100 km/h in a good 11.1 seconds.
On the other hand, the petrol sDrive18i version is equipped with the 1.5-liter turbocharged mill, outputting 136 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque, sending the power to the front, via a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. This version eats up 5.6 L for each 100 km/.
Finally, the 2016 BMW X1 xDrive18d packs a four-cylinder engine, with 150 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque and reaches 100 km/h in 9.2 seconds with the help of a six-speed manual or 9.3 seconds with an eight-speed automatic transmission, at a topping of 204 km/h.
