It seems that BMW is currently testing the new M4 GTS, the prototype in question being “presented” as a MotoGP safety car. As we can see in these spy images, only the front splitter and the rear wing are camouflaged.
Even so, there are some assumptions that the final model will sport the company’s new laser headlights while in the back, you can expect to see OLED taillights.
Performance details are very limited at this point. There’s a big posibility to see a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine with an improved output but nothing is official yet.
Inside, we can see the presence of a roll cage as well as some Recardo sports seats. Special harnesses as well as a sports steering wheel should be also available.
The circuit-focused BMW M4 GTS is meant to be as light as possible, therefore, lightweight materials such as carbon fiber will make an even bigger appearance in the final model.
