New BMW 1-Series sedan makes its first appearance
The sedan version of the new BMW 1-Series is not a complete novelty for us but finally, after a lot of talking about it, we get to see it on the streets.
Of course, we talk about a prototype model but we are happy to see it even with a thick camouflage. At least we know it is getting closer to debut.

At first look, the upcoming BMW 1-Series sedan sports a revised front grille, sloping roofline, a quite long hood and slightly revised optical blocks.

There are rumors that it will use the UKL platform, therefore, it will be a front-wheel model. This is the same platform found under the new BMW 2-Series Active Tourer.

With this being said, expect similar engines with an entry-level 1.5-liter 136-horsepower petrol unit, two 2.0-liter with 184 hp and 231 hp respectively as well as a more frugal 2.0-liter diesel producing 150 horses and 330 Nm of torque.
