2016 BMW X6 M Undergoes Tests at Nurburgring
The 2016 BMW X6 M is ending up in our news again, with the model to be caught on shots while undergoing some tests at Nurburgring, also wearing some camouflage.
The 2016 BMW X6 M will be launched at the end of the year and will go on sales starting next year, with the model to sit on the F16 BMW X6 standard model.
As we are already used to, all M models get the typical M treatment, and the X6 M is no exception, as it wears a dynamic front-end, wide air intakes and air breathers, wide track and of course the “M iconic quad tailpipes.”
As seen in the shots, the 2016 BMW X6 M is also wider, as it now stands at 4.910 mm.
Under the hood of the 2016 BMW X6 M, we should expect an upgraded S63TU engine twin-turbo V8, also seen on the new M5 and M6, which would develop around 600 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque, which is quite over the Competition Package developed for the M5 and M6.
The unit of the X6 M will be hooked to a DCT box, while the top speed is electronically limited to 174 km/h.
