2014 BMW M235i – First Time behind the Wheel
The 2014 BMW M235i is the perfect combination of power balancing style, dynamics and enjoyable riding. The car looks better, handles easier and delivers power for the road.
Since I love the car so much, I am rushing into revealing one more time, the power that the M235i is sporting under the hood. I am talking about the familiar N55 in-line six-cylinder turbocharged engine.
The M235i feels quite good on the road, due to its solid 320 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque. Behind the wheel though, you can feel the real power given by an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The car was put on for some testing at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where after a few laps, the M235i received a lot of merits in terms of extraordinary handling in tight corners and throttle in straight lines.
The car`s maneuverability was also given by the M235i`s unusual run-flat tires. When put in Sport+ Mode, the M235i is the sportiest coupe others can`t be.
The Sport+ Mode puts you into snappy shifts and a firmer ride, also due to the M Adaptive suspension that comes as standard equipment in the U.S., along with 13.4-inch front and 11.4-inch rear, as well as M Sport Breaking System, Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires and variable sport steering.
