New BMW 2 Series Coupe starts dropping camouflage
The new BMW 2 Series Coupe seems to get closer and closer as the latest spy shots show a prototype wearing less camouflage than the previous vehicles.
In terms of styling, the new model will borrow several features from the 1 Series lineup but will benefit from new bumpers, revised optical blocks and front grille.

Engine range will be carried over from the current BMW 1 Series with high-performance M235i 2 models to debut later. The first one will be powered by a 3.0-liter engine producing 320hp and 450Nm of torque while the range-topping BMW M2 will get a power boost to 350hp.

The latter should hit the market somewhere in 2015 with more details to be available soon.

The all-new BMW 2 Series lineup is expected to debut in world premiere at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, an event which opens its gates this fall. BMW will premiere several other new models at Frankfurt.
