The next generation of BMW 6 Series expected to debut in 2012 was revealed few days ago by the Bavarian manufacturer. In order to see the main details about the 2012 BMW 6 Series Convertible you have to read the first article where we discussed in this regard.

The Germans from BMW announced a trunk load capacity between 300 and 350 liters while the system used for the electrically powered soft-top roof is able to fold the roof in 19 seconds while 24 seconds are quite enough to cover back the German model.

In short time after the debut of the model which will take place at the Geneva Motor Show, we can expect a performance M6 version of the model. Several new engines will be added to the range including an entry-level petrol version, the 640i, able to develop around 320 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. The design of the new 6 Series range was quite inspired from the BMW 6 Series Coupé Concept.
