Report: 2018 BMW M5 Will Be Revealed ahead Frankfurt Motor Show
BMW carmaker is on a full swing with its newly revised fleet, many of the models getting ready to be unveiled in the upcoming period.
One of the models that needs to get all the attention is the upcoming 2018 BMW M5, long-previewed and seen in spy photos in the last couple of months. And, according to a recent report from BMG Blog, the model is getting ready for an official debut just ahead the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.
It is massive, it is fast and comes with an extremely aggressive design language, set to satisfy the needs of the most unsatisfied customers. Once arriving on the market, the M5 will be the nightmare of the Mercedes-AMG E63 S, with the latest technologies inside and the most advanced mechanics.
Speaking of mechanics, the all-new 2018 M5 will come with the most advanced all-wheel drive system, comprising three modes: 4WD, 4WD Sport and 2WD, each one used in different driving settings.
Visually, the 2018 BMW M5 will look more menacing, thanks to the upgraded M parts, with new front and rear bumpers, much wider air intakes, rear diffuser with quad tailpipes, flared wheel arches and much, much more.
Inside, the model will look quite the same as the new 5-Series, yet will add some new and high-class elements like carbon-fiber trim all around, push-button for ignition, plenty of drive-mode buttons, and so on.
Performance wise, the new M5 will also be state-of-the-art, with its exclusive 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, churning out a staggering 600 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Stay tuned for full details in the upcoming period!
