2017 Geneva Motor Show: Alpina B3 & B4 S Unveiled
The BMW 3- and 4-Series` alternatives from Alpina strong arm – the all-new B3 and B4 S, already been previewed – have arrived at BMW`s stand at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, both models being highlighted in live photos from the event.
Besides the exquisite design of the new B3 abd B4 which are wearing the tuner`s high-end and exquisite S trim, both models have been also tweaked with the latest mechanics, like tuned-up suspension system, new and high-performance cooling system or remapped transmission software. This automatically led to approximately 7 percent boost in power and 10 percent boost in torque.
This means that both models are now standing at 434 horsepower and 487 Nm of torque, all squeezed from the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine, which is similar to the one underneath the M3 and M4.
As for the straight line sprint, this is achieved in 4.2 seconds, at a top speed of 190 mph. As for the prices involved, these refer to four body styles – the sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible.
The B4 S Coupe with the rear-wheel costs $79,215, while the all-wheel drive system is set at $82,300. On the other hand, the B4 S Convertible is available at $85,630. As for the B3 S, BMW`s Alpina has not revealed the pricing details, but we should be able to find out more details in the upcoming period.
