Photo Session: 2017 Alpina B7 xDrive Plays Hard to Get

Read Time:1 Minute, 45 Second

There are a lot of attributes that makes an Alpina so visibly different than a BMW model, and that would be a more aggressive attitude, higher-end styling elements and much more performance engines under the hood.

And the latest 2017 Alpina B7 in the xDrive version is the best example that it can successfully replace a BMW model when it comes to fighting back against an S63 or S65 hardcore version from AMG.

The aforementioned model was recently seen online in a smashing photo gallery, which showcases the car`s exquisite design, fine interior and high-class road attitude.

The styling of the new 2017 Alpina B7 xDrive is extremely appealing, aggressive yet attractive, thanks to the Alpina Blue Metallic exterior, highlighted as well by bespoke front and end, front lip spoiler, stainless steel and the 20-inch Alpina Classic wheels with Micheln Pilot Sport tires.

Inside, you feel cozy with the plethora of luxurious features, including Nappa leather on the seats, leather dashboard, ceramic controls, Piano Black or Myrtle Luxury Wood trim, sport steering with blue and contrast stitching, illuminated door sill plates, brand-new digital instrument cluster, head-up display and so on.

The 2017 Alpina B7 xDrive cannot be complete without the impressive powertrain that it comes with under the hood. We are looking here at a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which is rather the same one found on the 750i, only that it comes with a higher power. This means no less than 600 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, allowing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a mind-blowing 3.6 seconds, which makes it way too faster than the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG, its direct rival.
