Each version from the newly-unveiled 2017 G30 BMW 5 Series comes with advanced aerodynamics, exquisite exterior and interior design and the latest technology under the hood. There are variants designed for driving pleasure and others especially built for adrenaline rush; and the top of the line M550i xDrive is the perfect model to take for a spin at high speeds.

First, the G30 M550i xDrive stands out from the crowd with the exquisite design, highlighted by the M aerodynamic package with one-off features – extremely wide air inlets, special accents in Cerium Grey, kidney grille with distinctive frame, one-off mirror caps, model designation, as well as the 19- or the 20-inch alloy wheels.

Other important features refer to the front apron with now much wider air intakes, side skirt trim, diffusor-like rear apron, exhaust system with two rectangular tailpipes and a few more.

Inside, the model also looks smashing with elements from the M Sport package, like M leather steering wheel, doorsill finishers with model designation, and the latest materials.

Still inside, the cabin also features the SensaTec upholstered dashboard and aluminum pedal covers and footrest. In case you decide to go for the Black Dakota Leather with contrast Blue stitching and piping, then you can also add the new and standout floor mats. All these high-end features provide the driver and passengers with the best level of comfort.

The level of comfort is also given by the lowered instrument panel, freestanding display or other storage spaces well-hidden and which provide increase legroom and kneeroom and adding extended legroom as well.

In the engine department, the G30 M550i xDrive is a real beast, the high-end version using the carmaker`s latest M Performance TwinPower Turbo eight-cylinder petrol engine, which is 100% pure adrenaline. The engine sound is so impressive and powerful that it could give you shivers down the spine, especially since it packs the high-performance M Sport exhaust system. The power output stands at a whopping 462 horsepower, allowing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds.

Even if we are dealing with an extremely powerful version, the M550i xDrive also comes with a good fuel-efficiency of a combined 8.9L/100 km, while the CO2 emissions stand at 204 g/km.

Besides the impressive powertrain, the model also features advanced mechanics. The performance figure is also possible thanks to the new Adaptive M suspension system, which lowers the car`s ride height by 10 mm, along with the M Sport brake for maximum deceleration, or the Adaptive M Suspension Profession which can be had as optional and which increases the car`s driving dynamics.
