Video Highlights MINI Clubman Cooper S with Supersprint Exhaust with Bypass Valve
It is not every day we`ve got the chance of seeing a MINI version receiving a custom-built exhaust system from a tuning company, but the MINI Clubman Cooper S is breaking the ice with the recently introduced Supersprint exhaust system with bypass valve.
You are surely wondering what the hell this is? Well, it’s a high-performance exhaust system that makes the Cooper`s soundtrack wilder and more impressive.
More than that, the sound of the new exhaust doesn’t protrude inside the cabin thanks to its deadening properties.
The exhaust system of Supersprint tuning shop is a high-performance one, coming with new front pipe, Valvetronic rear exhaust system and tailpipe kit with a diameter of 100 mm. The exhaust also come with a valve inside which opens-up and closes whenever you want.
The Valvetronic also comes with three settings, like Green, Normal and Sport modes, meaning that the valve can be adjusted according to the mode involved and your own preferences. The video below will provide a better close up.
The 2016 MINI Cooper Clubman is packing the 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol burner with the same MINI TwinPower Turbo, outputting 136 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque, sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.1 seconds, at a topping of 295 km/h. The model is coming with a fuel consumption of 5.3L-5.1L and CO2 emissions standing at 123-118 g/km.
On the other hand, the 2016 MINI Cooper S Clubman 4 is coming with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol with MINI TwinPower Turbo, developing 192 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque, enough to reach 100 km/h in 7.2 -7.1 (manual-automatic), at a topping of 228 km/h. The fuel consumption stands at 6.3L-6.2L / 100 km/h and CO2 emissions at 147 – 144 g/km.
