New Alpina B7 Teaser Video Released
Almost every time BMW releases a new model on the market, its tuning division Alpina “kicks back” with a more powerful interpretation. The new Alpina B7 seen below in the teaser video, takes its origins from the recently unveiled 7-Series flagship.
The new Alpina B7 is fully camouflaged but that didn’t stop us from depicting its overall design cues, like modified bespoke front bumper or the trunk-mounted spoiler.
Additional sports features refer to the high-performance wheels or custom dual-exhaust, while the interior comes with the finest touches, like revised instrument cluster, new steering wheel and a few more sporty tweaks.
The engine department says all about the upcoming Alpina B7. The car will received an upgraded 4.4-liter TwinPower Turbo V8 engine, with more power and torque than the former 540 HP and 538 lb-ft of torque. We should also see a new automatic transmission and an improved speed from 0 to 100 km/h. The previous reached the distance in a good 4.3 seconds, at a topping of 194 mph.
As for its arrival, Alpina stated that the model is due to arrive pretty “soon”, guessing a possible presence at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, opening its gates this March. Stay tuned for more info, the division is expected to launch more details pretty “soon”.
