Video: 2016 BMW M2 Coupe Spotted in Mineral Grey
The 2016 BMW M2 Coupe was officially unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, the model being spotted ever since wearing the different body wraps available for this particular model.
We have spotted the model on the roads in Long Beach Blue metallic or Alpine White wraps, and now, recent photos and video reveal the same sport car wrapping the Mineral Grey finish.
The Mineral Grey might be considered an exquisite and rare body color, due to the fact that the Leipzig facility where the model is built, comes with just a small paint booth that has to cover a whole lot of other models as well.
The 2016 BMW M2 Coupe has been already priced in Germany and the US, the model reaching its worldwide dealerships starting next April. Unfortunately, according to some new reports, the model will be discontinued in five years, with only 2,200 units to be built each year.
As a reminder, the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe is wearing the M division badge all over the body style and interior. In terms of safety features, the model is coming with the Driving Assistant, Active M Differential, M Servotronic Steering, M brakes and suspensions and more.
Under the hood, the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe is packing a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine, with 370 horsepower and 465 Nm of torque, enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, via a six-speed manual transmission. Fitted with the optional seven-speed M DCT gear, the model reaches 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds.
