The 2016 BMW M2 has been recently unveiled in first photos and details, and now the hot coupe is being highlighted in some impressive wallpapers.
The all-new M2 has been compared with the BMW M4 Coupe, as it comes with a muscular and aggressive body style, fully adorned with the BMW` M Performance Parts, while under the hood, the engine churns out a lot of power.
The 2016 BMW M2 Coupe is the rightful successor of the 1M and is based on the E30 M3 and BMW 2002, first launched almost 40 years ago.
The car`s design is gorgeous, coming with the new low front apron with larger air intakes, the M gills and twin-tailpipe exhaust, as well as the 19-inch double-spoke wheels. As the carmaker states, the new BMW M2 Coupe is “a compact vehicle that’s perfect for rapid sprints and racy cornering.”
Inside, the M signature is also visible on the coupe`s Dakota Black leather steering wheel, sports seats, door sills, footrest, gearshift level and so on.
In the engine department, the BMW M2 Coupe brags with 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine, which outputs 370 horsepower and 465 Nm of torque.
The engine can be equipped with a six-speed manual, allowing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The optional seven-speed M Double Clutch transmission with Drivelogic helps the M2 reach 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. The topping also stands at 250 km.
Hopefully, we will get the chance of seeing it on the tracks pretty soon, meanwhile, enjoy the gorgeous wallpapers and don’t forget to share your excitement with us!
