The sec-gen 2016 BMW X1 officially unveiled last month at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, is making a come-back with the latest video, with Mat Watson from Carbuyer explaining the car`s body style and wider interior.
In the video presented below, the famous journalist from Carbuyer, Mat Watson, is trying to explain the X1`s wider interior, which would make everybody feel more comfortable than in a 3-Series.
As we already know, the 2016 BMW X1 is standing on the company`s new UKL platform, meaning wider space inside, taller roof and big windows, which recreates the inside feel of an SUV.
Thanks to the same UKL platform, the new-gen BMW X1 also make rooms for a wide choice of engines, which are now more powerful and more fuel efficient.
Speaking about power, the 2016 BMW X1 is coming with the newly introduced 1.5-liter three-cylinder and 2.liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
Other engines follow, like the 2.0-liter three-cylinder fitted on the sDrive20i (FWD), and xDrive20i (AWD), with 189 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque, while the xDrive25i will output 228 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque.
The diesels received the sDrive18d, fitted with the 2.0-liter turbocharged unit, developing 148 horsepower and 330 Nm of torque, the xDrive20d (AWD), with 187 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, or the xDrive25d, outputting 228 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque.
The model is already available on the United Kingdom market from a base entry-level price of 26,780 GBP.
