A couple of days ago, BMW USA released the online configurator for the 2016 BMW X1 and now, the 2016 3-Series 340i is already available with hundreds of choice to choose from
The odd thing is that only three 3-Series versions will be available in the US, the 320i, 328i and our 340i, with the long expected 330i missing, but showing up instead on the German website. Perhaps the German CEOs are trying to limit the new 3-Series lineup to just a bunch of versions.
As we can depict from the USA online configurator, the 2016 BMW 340i will come with a wide choice of packages, like the Track Handling package, the Sport Line package, the Luxury package, M Sport package or the M Aerodynamic package, each one with its own goodies.
In the engine department, the 2016 BMW 340i will pack a new B58 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder unit, with 326 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds, in the rear-wheel version, while the all-wheel is 0.2 seconds faster.
The MSRP prices start from $45,800 for the rear-wheel drive version, while the xDrive all-wheel will set you back at $47,800, and can go up depending on the type of package you opt for. But more details are available on bmwusa.com!
