2015 Mercedes C63 AMG S Takes on 2016 BMW M3 in Drag Race, Video Revealed

There are two midsized sedans that will always carry the battle for supremacy and Evo has put together the same old enemies Mercedes C63 AMG S and the new BMW M3 into a classic take on race. A video with the drag race is also showcasing the two sports cars revving their engines and going full throttle.

But don’t hurry up and watch the video, let`s first analyze both models from a performance perspective to see which one has got the most changes to win this race.

First off, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG S is taking its power from a 4.0-liter twin turbo V8 engine, with two power configurations, like 476 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque in the AMG GT, as well as 510 horsepower available between 5,500-6,250 rpm and 700 Nm of torque between 1,750-4,500 rpm, in the AMG GT S. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is done in 3.9 seconds.

On the other hand, the 2016 BMW M3 is coming with the 3.0-liter six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo unit, with 425 horsepower between 5,500 rpm and 7,300 rpm, and 550 Nm of torque, between 1,850 rpm and 5,500 rpm. The topping stands at 250 km/h, which makes it sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds. Some auto publication report 3.9 seconds with the M Driver`s Package.
