
BMW i3 Receives Body Upgrades from IND
The BMW`s first electric vehicle, the i3, has been recently the subject of some updates carried out at the body, the entire work being done by the folks from the IND tuning company, which have also upgraded the BMW i8 at the same time, reportedly preparing both models for this week`s 2015 Bimmerfest event , in California.
Just like the BMW i8, the BMW i3 electric vehicle has also received some carbon fiber components at the body, such as the gloss black foglight surrounds, gloss black grille surrounds, gloss black front bumper, or the IND painted reflectors.

Additionally, the aftermarket specialists from IND tuner have also fitted the BMW i3 with a carbon fiber lip, wrapped in a gloss black finish, the program being carried out with the help of 3D Design aftermarket shop, which is specialized in body color wrapping.

To make things complete, the BMW i3 has also received the Cobra lowering springs, which makes the electric vehicle more sportier, while a new set of HRE Wheels have been also fitted on the model, the wheels being wrapped in the electric blue finish on the outer barrel and face.

As a reminder the BMW i3 electric was first launched last year, being manufactured in Leipzig, Germany, and designed by Richard Kim. This would become the carmaker`s first “green” i model.

The BMW i3 is an extraordinary city car, coming with a five-door hatchback body, while under the hood, it packs a rear-engine and a rear-wheel drive system.We are talking about an electric motor, which outputs a great 250 Nm of torque, hooked to a single-speed transmission, while the 650cc two-cylinder petrol range extender, provides an additional of 34 horsepower.
