
BMW 2-Series Convertible Available in Australia from 54,900 AUD
BMW has announced the availability of its 2-Series Convertible in Australia, where the hot model will reach its dealerships in February, from as starting price of 54,900 AUD, in the 22i version.
At that price, the BMW 2-Series Convertible 220i version will get a series of good standard features, but in case you are not satisfied with that, you can also choose the 228i trim level, which will cost you 68,900 AUD, without the destination fees. On the other hand, the top of the line BMW M235i Convertible will each 85,800 AUD.

In terms of powertrain, all versions are coming with good power and performance, except the fact the BMW German based carmaker will not equip the model with a diesel variant. So we should see a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine in the base 220i, developing around 180 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque.

The BMW 2-Series Convertible 228i will come with the same 2.0-liter unit, but will have an upgraded power of 250 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds. Finally, the M235i will get the highest power, an impressive 320 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, for the 3.0-liter six-cylinder unit, which will run the same mileage in just 5.0 seconds.
