
BMW i9 Supercar Rumored for 2016
A BMW i9 supercar was long discussed and debated and now it seems that the German based premium carmaker is apparently preparing the model for 2016.
This comes after the German media has launched some rumors, stating that the BMW i9 will be launched on the market in a couple of years, being the little brother of the i8 plug-in hybrid.

The model is aimed to compete against other hypecars like the McLaren P1, the Ferrari LaFerrari or the Porsche 918 Spyder.
In terms of visuals, the BMW i9 is rumored to sport a much more aggressive body style, larger unit under the hood, backed by a more powerful electric motor.
We might be talking here about a 3.0-liter six-cylinder unit under the hood, backed by an electric ranger, sporting more power than the i8`s 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged unit.
More details with the upcoming BMW i9 will be released perhaps at the the German carmaker will make an official announcement about its launch.
