BMW Launches i8 Online Configurator in US

Good news for BMW fans in the United States, as the German based automaker has just launched the online configurator for the high-end i8 plug-in hybrid.
The BMW i8 configurator is at your disposal, that in case you live in the United States, with a wide variety of options to choose from, starting with the four trim packages, exterior paint and wheel choices, and many more.
To be a reminder, the BMW i8 is the company`s first plug-in hybrid, officially launched to the public in 2013, at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The BMW i8 hypercar is now being manufactured in Leipzig, Germany and comes in a two-door coupe body style.
Under the hood, the BMW i8 is powered by a synchronous motor, developing 131 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, backed by a 1.5-liter I3 turbo range extender, providing an additional 228 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque.
