
BMW i8 Spotted in Commercial at the 2014 Sochi Olympics
Things are rolling better and better for BMW, which has recently placed a commercial, showing the i8 green at the 2014 Sochi Olympics.
The BMW i8 green car is in the spotlights once again, with the occasion of the Sochi Olympics, involving the super car in a promotional clip.

To go back, the i8 was officially presented in 2013, the model coming with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine, developing 231 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque.

Now, the fresh i8 hybrid petrol is backed up by an electric motor, supplementing the car`s power with 131 horsepower and 250 Nm, sending the throttle to the front rear wheels.

The total power developed by the hybrid is around 362 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque, hitting the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds.
The BMW i8 green car has a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) and it is presently being manufactured in Leipzig, Germany, showing off with 4,700 mm in length, 1,940 mm in width and 1,300 mm in height, also weighing 1,500 kg.
