All-new BMW X4 spotted again
BMW intensifies road tests for the new X4, a model which is expected to debut next year. The German SUV wants to feel the gap between the X3 and X5 but is rather a crossover.
Under the bonnet, expect to see a 2.0-liter petrol unit producing 240 horsepower and a more potent 300-horsepower 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo.

On the other hand, a 2.0-liter diesel offering 184 horses and 380Nm of torque will be available as well.

In terms of styling, we expect to see several cues taken from its smaller brother, the X3. However, the increased dimensions and certain features will make the new X4 stand out in the range.

The 2014 NAIAS is very likely to be the place where BMW will unveil the new model, mainly considering that it will be built at the company’s plant in South Carolina.
