With the Chinese market close to becoming the largest market for BMW, the car maker is pushing in more models.
The latest that will be joining the car lineup is the E89 BMW Z4 sDrive18i, as these spy shots seem to confirm.
So far, when it comes to roadsters, BMW offers China the sDrive20i, sDrive28i, sDrive35i and sDrive35is Z4 vehicles, and with the addition of the sDrive18i, the Chinese customer has a choice of 5. Under the hood of the E89 BMW Z4 sDrive18i is a 2.0 liter turbocharged 4 cylinder engine capable of delivering 156 Hp and 240 Nm of torque.
This is similar to the numbers on the European version of the sDrive18i Z4, and the entry level BMW roadster will also fetch a more affordable price. You can get one for 500.000 CNY or 81.500 USD, so if you are in the market for such a vehicle but don’t have that much money, the E89 BMW Z4 sDrive18i might be the choice for you.
